Description
Description
Shiljait is a natural exudate; a sticky, resinous, black or brown substance that forms over centuries from the decomposition of plant and rock materials, primarily found in high-altitude mountainous regions like the Himalayas. It is rich in minerals, amino acids, and other compounds, notably fulvic acid and is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for its potential adaptogenic, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties.
In it's natural form, Shilajit oozes out of the ground as a tarry substance. This wild ingredient with its high moisture content, is a great starting point from which to create our Shilajit extract powder; a shelf stable product with superior concentrations of fulvic acid and which can be easily dissolved into food and drinks.
