Driven by our own awakening and subsequent health journey, we, Chris and Beatriz 👋, embarked on a path of research and experimentation. The result? Lion & Bear – a collection of products designed to help nourish you and support your wellbeing.

OUR WELLNESS JOURNEY

In 2020, we visited Brazil to stay with family. However, just days into the holiday, the UK went into lockdown. Flights were suspended and Brazil became our temporary home.

Anxious, overwhelmed and eventually lacking direction, we sought to find answers through guided Shamanic ceremony and indigenous medicines.

When we returned to the UK, some fifteen months later. We started growing mushrooms and producing natural medicines for ourselves. Through our transformation and the clear need to help heal our community, we connected to the mission of doing so, for others, too.

A GROWING ENTHUSIASM

With a lack of availability, quality and engagement in the market of functional mushrooms. We went in search of the finest extracts from around the world combining them with specialty roasted coffee beans to establish our now best-loved mushroom coffee.

As our business has grown, we continue to develop our range of functional drinks by engaging with cutting edge academic research, product development and testing. We hope to make drinks that everyone can enjoy and feel nourished by.

We love to cultivate mushrooms, forage and create natural remedies. Developing our knowledge of cultivation, extraction and the production cycle of these incredible ingredients has been instrumental in us producing both effective and economical products for you today.
